January Favourites

There have been five items this month, that I have completely and utterly fallen in love with.

The first item has to be these Black Lace Up Buckle Strap Boots I picked them up from New Look,. I have been looking for a pair of boots that’s just like these ones for ages. They have a zip on the inner part of the boot, making it easy to take them off and put them on. It can be difficult buying shoes online, if I do, I always try to do it through New Look, as I am always a size 5. These boots are incredibly comfy. They are quite ‘grungy’ but I love that look. I’m the type of person who will wear boots all year round. However these, to me, they are beautiful and perfect. Just what I’ve been looking for.

This David Bowie Hunky Dory vinyl, has been playing throughout January. I just cant get enough of it. I was lucky at Christmas as my main present was a record player. I just cant get enough of this record, even now as I write this, Bowie is playing in the background. Some of my favourite songs on this record include: Changes, Oh you pretty thing and Queen Bitch. Nothing sounds as great as a vinyl record playing.

Now for an odd favourite, I have become obsessed with Apple juice and Elderflower. Who knew that, this combination could taste so good. Honestly it tastes so good, not sweet, but really crisp and refreshing. I love this one by Copella, but Tesco’s also do a fantastic one too!

Moving onto makeup, my favourite base this month has to be this Seventeen BB Cream, its super lightweight, medium coverage, it has an spf 25, which I adore. It is just so easy to blend in, and it makes my skin look amazing!

Finally my favourite nail polish item is a topcoat, this is the Seche Vite Professional Top Coat. This is amazing, it dries so quickly and it makes any, and I mean any nail polish whatever the quality last so much longer. It dries within like 2 minutes, I tend to give my nails however about 5-10 minutes, just so I know the nail varnish is really dry. The other great thing about this nail polish top coat, is you don’t even have to wait for the second colour to dry, I honestly just leave the second top coat to dry for about 4 minutes, and then go on top with this quick dry top coat. It is crack resistant, and leaves the nails with a semi gloss finish. I love it, and whilst it is a bit more pricey, it is so worth it. Any nail addict needs this in their life!
