Empties

I used to do a video on my empties, but I thought I would stop doing youtube videos of that, and do them on my blog. Mainly the reason behind this is so that I can share with you all my thoughts on each product in a bit more detail.
So I have divided my empties into three categories: I would repurchase again, I might repurchase again and I definitely wouldn’t purchase again. Also I have shopped around for the best deals of all of these products, and linked them for you as well.

There is a mix of high end products and high street products, along with a few products that are from the high street but are more at the higher end priced point.

So as you can see I have been collecting emptie products for a while… Sounds weird I realise, but if you happen to be a beauty blogger or YouTuber then, really its quite notmal.

Products that would I repurchase?

Imperial Leather Relaxing Sleep Bath Soak: I adore this, it’s the best one ive found from the drugstore, it doesn’t end up running out too quickly. It creates amazing bubbles, and it is really relaxing and perfect to help you unwind.

Amphora Aromatics Jasmin, Mimosa & Rosehip Cream: This is one of the brands that I found last year that is natural, and incredible. This moisturiser smells like a spa, but I actually think aside from that, that this moisturiser works! It moisturised my skin, it wasn’t too heavy, it help with healing scares from blemishes, it stopped my skin from becoming dry. It also lasted a really long time.

Lavender Oil: I won’t talk too much about lavender oil, because I love it so much. I use lavender oil every night on my pillow before I go to sleep, it really helps me fall into a natural & peaceful sleep. This lavender oil is 100% pure, and it’s the most affordable price I’ve ever found lavender oil to be. I always stock up on lavender oil.

Seventeen Stay Time Concealer: This is one of my favourite concealers ever. The formula is amazing, its light weigh, full coverage, doesn’t crease and lasts all day long. I have gone through two of these concealers before, I have already repurchased it, and will continue to do so.

Natural Collection Lash Length Mascara: Again this is one of my favourite products ever, I will always repurchase this mascara. I already have actually. This mascara lengthens my lashes, whilst also giving a bit of volume. For me this mascara is my go to mascara for every day.

Botanics Cleansing Balm: This cleansing balm is beautiful to use, its really hydrating too. You can use this to remove makeup, personally I think its too good for that. I tend to use this as my second cleanse once my makeup is off, to really allow it to cleanse my skin. Also I actually really like to use this as a mask sometimes. If my skin is feeling really dry and dehydrated, I apply this and leave it on for about 10-20minutes, it really hydrates my skin and leaves my skin in better condition.

would-buy-2

Trilogy Rosehip Oil: I never knew how much I loved this product till I tried a different rosehip oil. At the moment I am using another one, which is ok, but I prefer this one. Rosehip oil is amazing to use if you suffer with dry skin, blemishes and dehydrated skin. It really helps to calm and soothe any blemishes, whilst it also helps to reduce the appearance of scars left over from blemishes. I will definitely repurchase this once I have finished my other rosehip oil. Its quite a loose oil, making it really easy to massage into your skin.

Botanics Face Oil: Again if you are looking for a more affordable oil, this one is amazing. I have repurchased it and will continue to do so. I tend to use this oil in the morning, as I find this oil in consitancy to be quite thick. But on the skin it is beautiful.

Soap & Glory Micellar Water: This is one of the best micellar waters out there in my opinion. It removes makeup, and even eye makeup, if you have waterproof mascara on, this will remove it. Its really gentle on the skin, and the most effective I have to say. I already have repurchased this!

would-buy-3

ELF Makeup Mist & Set: This is simply my favourite holy grail, ride or die makeup setting spray. Its quite hard to get it in the uk, but I buy it on amazon! Its amazing, it sets my makeup in place all day long, I’ve never found anything better than this.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde: I have no idea what happened to the shampoo. But the shampoo and this conditioner is amazing, if you have blonde hair, buy this. They also do it for bruenettes and red heads I believe too. This leaves my hair in incredible condtion.

Products I might repurchase?

Yes to Blueberries Face Wipes: On a day to day rule, I don’t tend to use face wipes, as they can strip your skin. So I only used these when I was away and limited on space. But I can say that these were really moisturising, and they did remove any makeup really well. I actually used these on a plane, to freshen up my skin before applying a really hydrating moisturiser, and it worked really well. But yes if I needed to buy any face wipes, I would definitely re purchase these.

Biore Blemish Clearing Scrub: Brilliant. This really is a brilliant product. The only reason its under this category is because I have just found a slightly better face scrub. But don’t get me wrong, this face scrub is incredible. Great for removing dead skin, and clearing up any blemishes.

Nip + Fab Dragons Blood Cleansing Pads: I mean really dragons blood? I doubt it. But none the less, these have Hyluaronic Acid in, which is amazing at opening your pores, and it has witch hazel which is great for treating spots. I loved these, but again I’m using another similar product. But if I needed some, I would repurchase these.

what-i-might-buy-again

Zkin Line Smoothing Serum: Now in all honestly I would 100% repurchase this product, however the price, it’s too high. This is a high end product. I was lucky that I got sent this product, and I loved it, but at £34.94 its pricey. But amazing!

Radox Sleep Easy Bubble Bath: I liked this, but I have just found that I prefer the Imperial Leather bubble bath.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer: People rave about this product, and for the price, it is amazing. But I just don’t completely love this product.

Vichy Normaderm Moistuiser: I loved this, but I just found that it didn’t last long. It did really work, if I had blemishes I did end up always reaching for this. But it didn’t last long, like less than a month, so for me, it just wasn’t worth repurchasing.

Boots Soltan Protect & Go Mini Lotion: I loved this for travelling in the summer. It has a high SPF, but I found that it sank into the skin really quickly, there wasn’t any white residue left over and it wasn’t sticky either. The only reason this product is in this category is because, I won’t be repurchasing it again till the summer.

Products that I wouldn’t re-purchase..

John Frieda Orginal 6 Effects Serum: I like this serum, it really did smooth my hair and make it less frizzy. But I just felt like it wasn’t a step in my haircare routine that made a dramatic difference, I also thought it was quite exspensive at £6.99, it just didn’t do enough for me to justify re purchasing this product.

Soap & Glory Mist You Madly: Now I am a big fan of Soap & Glory products, whilst I did like this scent, I feel like at the moment I have found better body sprays. I mean I never used this all over my body, it wasm ore that I used it as a perfume on just an every kind of day product. It’s a beautiful quite sweet scent, just not for me at the moment, you can pick this up for £6.50

what-i-wouldnt-buy-again

Superdrug Sweet Snuggles Bath Crystals: I loved these, but they where a Christmas exclusive at Superdrug.

Neutrogena Hand Cream: I found this hand cream to be a bit too much. It’s a balm, which I found meant that it took forever to sink in. For me I want a hand cream to sink in, in atleast five minutes. This took forever to sink in.

Sanctuary Spa 5 Day Moisture Creamy Body Oil: I brought this on special offer. I normally love Sanctuary Spa products, but this was really awkward to use, it took ages to sink in, and it because it was so thick, I found it quite difficult to get the product out of the bottle.

Botanics Hand Cream: I really like this handcream, and I used it a lot, but at the moment I have found another amazing handcream.

Have you used some of these products before? What did you think about them? Would you recommend any of these products?
