Garnier Moisture Bomb Camomile Tissue Mask

When I saw that Garnier had brought out two new sheet face masks, I knew I had to get my hands on them. So far I’ve only managed to find one, but one is better than none.

I am such a fan of the original Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask, I have reviewed it here.
So the one that I managed to pick up was the Garnier Moisture Bomb Camomile Tissue Mask. This mask is specifically designed for dry and sensitive skin. I suffer with dry skin on my cheeks, and my skin can be very sensitive.
Plus this mask has camomile in it, and I love camomile.

Camomile is known to help:
promote healthy skin
calming to your body and mind
promotes sleep
calming to your muscles
fights against infections and illness’s
So when I saw that camomile was a main ingredient in this mask, I knew that I had to purchase it.
This mask is perfect if you suffer with dry and sensitive skin. It is also perfect if you are prone to tightness on your face.
Also this mask will help to hydrate and soothe your skin.
So how is this mask different? This hydrating tissue mask is ultra thin and infused with soothing camomile and hyaluronic acid, it instantly adds hydration to your skin, whilst also give your skin a re-fresh. This mask is really good if you have any blemishes or if you feel like you need to re-start your skin for the week. Because of the camomile it soothes and comforts your skin, this allows the mask to heal and soothe any blemishes or dryness that you have.
I chose to use this face mask, when my skin felt weak, it felt lifeless and I have a few breakouts. The reason I chose to use this mask on this day, is because I wanted to see what the effect would be.
In the past I have used the other Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask, on similar days when my skin feels like this, and it has made such a difference. Its calmed my spots, rehydrated my skin, and given it some life… So lets see if this mask does the same!
WHAT YOU GET INSIDE
When opening this mask, you are presented with the sheet mask and a plastic mask attached to the sheet mask. In the original mask the plastic sheet is blue, I kind of hoped that in this mask it would be pink, its not, its blue.
Personally I don’t really see the point of the plastic mask, plenty of other sheet masks don’t have it and its fine.
The actual sheet mask is drenched in the serum, which I love. When applying this to my face, it easily clings on. You can feel the hydration from the first second. There was a bit of tingling around my blemishes – but it wasn’t painful and disappeared after two minutes.
You leave this face mask on for fifteen minutes, in this time I will watch youtube videos and attempt to sip on my tea… Now that I’m thinking about it though, I’m not sure thats going to be possible.
WEARING THE MASK
It says on the back of the packet that you can use these masks three times in a week. Personally I wouldn’t. I think thats too much for my skin. Once or twice a week is enough for my skin.
The mask is quite cooling on the skin, and it still feels very hydrating.
Drinking tea is not possible when wearing this mask, I don’t recommend it…
DRINKING TEA
The mask feels very refreshing, I wouldn’t say it feels as relaxing as the original mask. But its not, not relaxing.
After fifteen minutes, I removed the sheet mask. My skin felt fresh, glowy, hydrated. I massaged the remainder of the serum on my face into my face and down my neck / jaw.
My skin feels really great actually. But the true test will be to see how my skin is looking and feeling tomorrow morning!
Another tip that I suggest and that I do already with other sheet masks, is keep the packet, there is still serum in there. So use it. I love to continue to use the serum for as long as possible, normally its two days, but it helps to continue the work of the mask and improve results a bit more.

BEFORE AFTER NEXT MORNING

On waking up my skin feels hydrated and looks less dry. My skin is looking a bit more glowy as well.
All I ended up using last night was a hydrating eye cream and then an oil about thirty minutes before I went to bed, just to add even more hydration. (Personally I find a serum alone doesn’t add enough hydration). The texture of my skin is more smooth.
I will definitely repurchase this face mask.
